Yixing Huang (黄益星)

Huang Yixing is currently an Assistant Professor and Full Research Professor at the Institute of Medical Technology, Peking University Health Science Center. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Peking University in 2013, and his Master’s and Doctoral degrees from Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany in 2016 and 2020, respectively. His research primarily focuses on cone-beam CT reconstruction and image analysis, as well as medical image analysis in tumor radiotherapy, including limited-angle reconstruction, field-of-view extension, MRI brain metastasis detection and segmentation, large language model-assisted decision-making, and survival prediction for cancer patients. To date, he has published over 50 academic papers and holds 3 patents, with 30 journal and conference papers as first author or corresponding author, including top medical imaging journals TMI and MedIA, top conference MICCAI, and the Red Journal and Green Journal of radiation oncology. He leads the National Natural Science Foundation of China Excellent Young Scientists Fund (Overseas), the Capital Health Development Research Special Youth Key Research Project, and the Beijing Natural Science Foundation Joint Fund Cultivation Project.

黄益星，现任北京大学医学部医学技术研究院助理教授/研究员，博士生导师，2024年海外优秀青年基金获得者。2013年获北京大学学士学位，2016年和2020年分别获德国埃尔朗根-纽伦堡大学硕士和博士学位。主要从事锥形束CT重建和影像分析以及肿瘤放疗中的医学影像分析，包括有限角度重建、视野扩增、MRI脑转移瘤检测分割、大语言模型决策辅助、肿瘤病人生存率预测等。目前共发表50余篇学术论文和专利3项，其中以一作和通讯发表期刊会议30篇，包括医学影像顶刊TMI和MedIA、顶会MICCAI、肿瘤放疗红皮和绿皮期刊。主持国家自然科学基金优秀青年科学基金项目（海外）、首都卫生发展科研专项青年重点攻关项目、北京市自然科学基金联合基金培育项目。
